Abbey Caller wins Legal Geek Rising Star award

Oct 14, 2026

Draftable's Associate Product Manager takes home the Rising Stars of Legal Tech award at the Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2026 in London, recognised for her work leading the product design of Draftable Clean.

Abbey Caller has been named a Rising Star of Legal Tech at the Legal Geek Leaders in Tech Law Awards 2026. The winners were announced at a ceremony in London on 14 October.

Abbey was shortlisted in the Supplier category alongside rising talent from Accesspoint Legal Services and iManage. The judges recognised her work on Draftable Clean, the metadata cleaning tool she has helped build with lawyers from the ground up.

The award was accepted in London, where Abbey was attending Legal Geek alongside the Draftable team.

About the award

The Leaders in Tech Law Awards are run by Legal Geek and Law.com. They celebrate the people and teams shaping how legal services are delivered through technology.

The Rising Stars of Legal Tech category recognises people under 40 who are emerging as future leaders in the field. Entrants are judged on their contribution to legal tech initiatives, the measurable impact of that work, and their potential to influence the industry's future.

Built with lawyers, not just for them

Abbey knows the pressure lawyers work under because she has been there. She studied law at Queensland University of Technology, then worked as a paralegal and as a consultant at PwC before moving into legal tech.

She joined Draftable through our Summer Intern Program in Melbourne, selected from more than 500 applicants, and was offered a permanent role soon after. Today she is Associate Product Manager and led the product design of Draftable Clean.

Her approach is what the team calls radical humility. Despite her legal background, Abbey starts every piece of product work with zero assumptions. She interviews lawyers, listens closely to where document sharing breaks down, and co-builds the solution with them.

That approach shows in the results. Since Draftable Clean launched in May 2026, more than 1,000 lawyers have run nearly 4,000 cleans, and new features continue to roll out based on their feedback.

Congratulations, Abbey

The whole Draftable team is incredibly proud of Abbey.
