Meet the team

Caspar leads the team at draftable across product, engineering, customer and commercial. A former research scientist, Caspar brings an evidence-led view to legal technology and AI, which means being disciplined about using the right tools for precise results. He works closely with law firms on software strategy, adoption and emerging use cases. He writes on Substack for non-technical audiences on AI transformation.

Peter leads Draftable’s global sales team. He and the team spend their days talking to customers, working through problems and ensuring feedback is translated into our product development and better lawyer experiences. Prior to Draftable, Peter held senior roles at PEXA, law firm Maurice Blackburn and Today.

Agi leads Draftable’s brand, marketing channels and communications. She came to legal technology from consumer retail and property technology where clarity, trust and exceptional customer experience came standard. She and the team bring that same standard to Draftable. Previously, Agi held senior roles at Trustport, PEXA and Dunelm.

Peter leads the global engineering team behind Compare, Clean and upcoming legal solutions. Leading engineering for over 5 years, the team are meticulous about quality and accuracy. This is why the same two documents return the same results every time. Prior to Draftable, Peter held senior developer roles at LiveTiles and Future Medium.

Russell has led Draftable’s support team for more than 6 years. He has a background in engineering, which enabled the automation of the admin around support so that it doesn’t get in the way of servicing our customers promptly. This is one of the many reasons why Draftable’s CSAT rating is consistently above 95%.

Peter Monk brings more than three decades experience as a corporate and M&A lawyer in Australia, Asia and the Middle East.  Peter has held Partner positions at Lander & Rogers, DLA Piper and Minter Ellison.

Chris Betts is General Counsel at Affinda Group. Prior to Draftable, Chris was General Counsel at Grab in Singapore through its US$40bn Nasdaq listing and a partner at Skadden Arps in Hong Kong for over a decade where he advised on dozens of IPOs and oversaw multiple acquisitions whilst managing large legal teams.

Alan Peckham is Chief Operations Officer at Affinda Group. Alan brings over twenty years’ experience in senior leadership roles across global professional services, legal practice and organisational transformation. Alan has held partner and executive management positions at Herbert Smith Freehills Kramer and executive legal and risk roles at the Australian Institute of Company Directors. He’s also an Advisory Board Member at Pickering Pearce and Anika Legal.
